Birds Are Real

Steam Release

Birds Are Real is re-trimmed and re-done for a steam release. A puzzle game with a loop encouraging player skill growth and bringing in more complex level designs to match and balance challenge through the main game.

Scout – Engage – Exit. With world states responding to each of these stages and layered NPC behaviour options.

Birds Are Real also leans heavily on its own parody nature to really emphasize the absolutely normal every day life of real and normal birds.

Primary Loop:

Navigate world without discovery > Associate target image with in-world NPC > calculate angle of approach > SPEED GO GO BLAST THE LASER RUN AWAY QUICK FLAP THEM WINGS! > Escape, cool as ice.

Check it out on Steam.

Rotator Redux

Uni project

Rotator Redux is a hypercasual minimal mobile game designed to retain engagement over a 90 day period through a handcrafted difficulty curve, then allowing for infinite play through a constrained auto level generation system alongside optional marathon modes for dedicated players.

Content generation for Rotator Redux was made easy with an in-editor level creator that can stack and store levels for runtime use.

Roleplay Audio Mixer

Itch.io release

The Roleplay Audio Mixed was designed after I was annoyed at finding different ambient sound sources for DnD games. It’s purely a case of “Fine, I’ll do it myself”

It allows users to import custom .mp4 or .wav files into the unity application and store that data through sessions. As well it contains playlists that can be created by users to form a particular environment of sounds with one button.

The imported and built-in sounds can all be looped and have individual volume control.
