Larry Dorrito Music Video

Uni project

This project was a university collaboration to create a sound-reactive music video to play through a synth style audio track. The projects downloadable has integrated audio spectrum analysis and reaction.

This was utilised further in the netherworld projector project. Of course the opportunity to be leading a team of game devs commissioned for another department was an excellent learning experiences wherein I could be the conduit between Audio and games.

Netherworld Projection

Uni project

Placed in a crowded bar in the valley (the center of Brisbane’s night life) this was designed as an interactive projection.

An idle mode set to provide a moving backgrop in synth style as well as a playable mode in which players could try and achieve a highscore in a simple arcade style driving game.

The trick being that this games environment reacted to the noise levels of the environment around it, providing a feedback loop into the space and enticing patrons to play.
